Harlan is a graduate of Columbia International University, with a B.S. (Communications Major and Bible Major). He is happily invested in the life and growth of the Anglican communion and the worldwide church.
A big ol’ geek and proud, I believe movies have not only the ability to entertain but to inspire, to help us explore our humanity and spirituality. Christians making art have so much more to explore than just people getting saved in family films. I can’t not write stories where things blow up and people do cool things. I love Ghostbusters, Terminator 2, James Cameron, Joss Whedon, David Fincher, shows like Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, and Supernatural.
I’m happily married to my best friend, deeply grateful for my church and constantly in need of the Grace of Jesus Christ.
Currently writing a screenplay for a feature film, SACRAMENT, and gearing up for pre-production. Hope to release it in 2012, and we’ll be chronicling the whole adventure online. Keep checking back!
